The National Center for School Mental Health honored the GESD System of Care Center as its 2024 National Youth and Family Partnership Award recipient.
This award is given to one exemplary organization that effectively partners with youth and families in delivering quality school mental health programming.
Assistant Superintendent for Behavioral Health and Student Services Dr. Louis Laffitte, Jr. and GESD System of Care Center Director Denis Parcells were recognized for the SoCC’s significant work during the 2024 Annual Conference on Advancing School Mental Health in Orlando, Florida.
